About the Brand
Bioagricola is an agricultural company born in 2016 from the experience of the De Biase and Rinaldi families. The Bioagricola project is based on modern agronomic techniques for sustainable agriculture. The company is specialized in the production of Baby Leaf Bio (rucola, salad, spinach) fostering food quality, safety and environemntal impact reduction. The company, certified Global GAP and BIO, is located in the heart of the fertile Piana del Sele (Campania region). Bioagricola has created with the new brand RUCOLAPIU a set of bio-products rucola-based. In September 2020 Bioagricola launched on the market an innovative recipe for a new organic RUCOLA PESTO. The project is carried on by a group of female entrepreneurs. Since they were little, rucola used to fill our kitchen, There was so much of it, they had to do something. Their granny made pesto out of it and it soon became a family recipe.
Now, two generations later, it came natural for them to go back to those fields, that farm and that kitchen. Past generations are their example and they inspired us in their renovation through a high quality product that comes from the earth and gets back to the table through an innovative and well-cared process. They were not born farmers, professionally speaking, but it became their point of arrival. They love calling themselves “farmers by choice”.
